The Promotional Professionals Association of Chicago, Inc (PPAChicago) is a not-for-profit trade association comprised of promotional product industry professionals and is run by a volunteer Board of Directors voted in by the membership.
A promotional product is any item imprinted with a logo or slogan and given out to promote a company, organization, product, service, special achievement or event. T-shirts, mugs, pens and key tags are popular examples, and just about anything can be imprinted. There are more than 750,000 promotional product companies with sales estimated to be around $18.5 billion in 2011.
Founded in 1957 to serve the growing needs of local promotional product companies, PPAChicago has expanded to represent nearly 500 distributor and supplier companies. Further, the association has grown in both strength and stature, gaining recognition as not only a local but industry leader in our members’ professional growth and success. The purpose of the Association is to promote the general welfare among Distributor and Supplier members, and to provide a trade show, educational opportunities, organized social events and other lawful trade association activities as determined by the board.
