Educational Opportunities
Because the Association places a great emphasis on the professional education of
its membership, PPAChicago sponsors various educational opportunities. PPAI, our
national organization, offers Continuing Education Units for completion of educational
offerings. Other shorter seminars are held during the year as well. |

Educational Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships are awarded each year to members of
PPAChicago who have:
• been affiliated with a PPAChicago member company for at least one (1) year;
• worked full-time in the industry for a minimum of two (2) years; and,
• earned at least one (1.0) CEU from PPAI. |

Newsletter
Our newsletter, The Product Line, the most comprehensive regional association
newsletter in the industry, is published four times each year. It contains informative
articles on all phases of PPAChicago and industry news. |

Membership Directory
A membership directory is available on-line at www.ppachicago.org. In addition to
member company information, the directory contains other important information
such as the names of Board Members, current Association by-laws, etc. A
print-out of the directory is also available for $10.00. |

Advertising
Supplier members are invited to advertise in The Product Line newsletter.
Newsletter ads reach about 300 PPAChicago Distributor companies and their
sales personnel. Rates are reasonable, and advertising in this publication is an
excellent sales tool in one of the largest market areas in the country. |

Member Mailing Labels
Computer generated mailing labels, which list either the entire membership or
Distributor members only, are available for $25.00 to members. The labels are
furnished to the member company for its one-time use only, and may not be
duplicated, sold, rented or otherwise furnished to any other person or company. |

Activities
Our activities afford opportunities to get to really know the people in our industry.
The relaxed atmosphere of these events encourages the exchange of ideas
and solutions to common problems while providing a comfortable setting in which
professional friendships may develop. |

The cost of many functions is subsidized by the Association. Any number of representatives from any member company may attend meetings and functions; each
member company is entitled to one vote at the annual meeting. |

New Product Ideas Show
PPAChicago sponsors one of the largest promotional products end-user trade
show in the country. Supplier members are given the first opportunity to exhibit.
This show offers the unique advantage of permitting member distributors to
invite their clients, giving them a first-hand glimpse of the promotional products
industry at its best. |
